In the winter of 1998/9, long before loads of girls started contacting me over the net on a weekly basis, I was looking for a model and Karla was reccommended to me by the publisher of a photographic magazine who had spotted her at a club and suggested she took up modelling. She turned up sight unseen having never modelled before apart from some snaps taken by her partner. She was shy about nudity at first but having taken off her clothes took to it quite naturally.

The next time I snapped her I shot around her place and roped in her partner to be in the pictures also. After all, I don't like people standing around on my shoots doing nothing. Altogether, I photographed her four or five times.
